Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the divisions of the Body of Christ.

We believe the only true bases of Christian Fellowship is Christ's Agape love, which is greater than any differences we posses and without which we have no right to claim ourselves as Christians.

We believe worship of God should be spiritual, therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.

We believe worship of God should be inspirational, therefore, we give great place to music in our worship.

We believe worship of God should be intellectual, therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis upon the teaching of the Word of God that He might instruct us on how He should be worshipped.

We believe worship of God should be fruitful, therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshipping Him.

Praise can change our lives

Psalms 48:18-36

The book of Romans reveals the answers to important questions and supplies information on many topics, such as salvation, the sovereignty of God, judgment, spiritual growth, and the righteousness of God. Many scholars also describe it as The Gospel and the Righteousness of God, which can be received only by faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ.

MORE FROM

Adventures in Fatherhood

The mission of Adventures In Fatherhood is to support families by providing opportunities for fathers to get outside with their children, grow in their relationships with one another and God while enjoying the beauty of creation.  Our ministry seeks to provide meaningful experiences where families can encounter God through His Word, His creation, and have opportunities to fellowship and grow closer to one another and the Lord Jesus. We also want to provide youth from single parent homes with the same opportunities, so if you know of a youth that may be interested, please let them know about AIF.

Adventures In Fatherhood is a Christ-centered outdoor ministry that provides opportunities for fathers, sons and daughters to get outside and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. If you’re a dad looking for outdoor activities to enjoy with your son or daughter, or maybe a group of fathers and their children, but you lack the equipment or experience to do so; well, you need not look any further. We’ll do all the planning and provide required equipment. You just show up, prepared to have fun! It is also a great way to minister to youth from single parent homes. You can schedule a private trip or join an existing group trip. Groups are intentionally kept to a maximum of 6 participants per trip.  For more information email dennis@ccdayton.org or call the church office (775) 241-9213.
