Crimson Rose Women's Ministry
"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light."
Summer Book Club - The Most Misused Verses in th Bible
A surprising number of well-known Bible verses are commonly misused and misunderstood. Whether intentionally or not, people take important verses out of context, and pastor and Bible scholar Eric J. Bargerhuff has seen the effects: confusion, faulty decisions, sin being dismissed, and more. With a deft touch, he helps readers understand and apply sound principles of interpretation and application of twenty familiar verses. This concise high-interest approach appeals to the curious as well as readers concerned about incorrect theology.
Begins, Tuesday, July 9. Sign up below or contact, Gina Lee.

Events, Activities and Service Opportunities
Bible Study Groups:
Groups meet corporately weekly on Tuesday at either 10 am or 6:30 pm The focus is a designated book of the Bible or Bible topic. The purpose is that we will be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, grow in the knowledge of God and learn new ways to bear fruit in every good work as a result.
Craft and Fund Raising Ministry:
Donate hand-crafted items or teach others how to use their creative crafty talents through this ministry area. Twice a year this team coordinates a craft and bake sale to raise funds of which half is used for women’s ministry to provide scholarship funds for Bible studies and Retreat participants who cannot otherwise afford to attend as well as to assist women with special “emergency” needs. The other half of funds generated by these sales is donated to mission outreach sponsored by the CCDV. Twice a year, this team also hosts an “Art & Soul” day for learning new creative skills and enjoying a meal together.
Our way of caring for each other and reaching out to the community as we discover unmet needs and ways in which we can administer mercy, compassion and helps to demonstrate the love of God. Through the acts of kindness generated we will live a life worthy of the Lord as we serve our widows and orphans. We will bear fruit in good works done for the sake of Christ. Some ways in which we have done this is:
Sending care packages to our military personnel
Baby gifting for new family members
Providing meals and home services to long-term chronically ill
Food pantry donations
Short-term missions trip support
Shoe boxes for Mexico
Consists of the contact persons for the individual areas of ministry as well as several others who faithfully give their wisdom and prayer support to the decisions and development of ways in which we minister to women at CCDV and in the Dayton Valley community. This team also participates in quarterly leadership, team-building training provided by the ministry coordinator. The ministry coordinator is Gina Lee.
